- Demonstrate compassion and empathy for our customers by understanding their situations and offering solutions.
- Perform outbound calls to collect on overdue accounts by negotiating appropriate repayment plans with customers.
- Support operations by managing customer accounts and collection activities on delinquent/past due accounts of financial loans.
- Engage in negotiations with customers and explore financial resources to secure the optimal arrangement.
- Complete initial trace work using online tools and account systems.
- Document collections activities and processes through strong administration skills.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a collections, sales, customer service, or call center role.
- Experience with an automated dialer system is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Competency in MS Office (Word, Excel); ability to learn new software applications.
- Able to pass background checks (criminal, employment, and credit).
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada on a full-time basis at the time of application; we are not able to provide sponsorship.
