Lend Care, part of the goeasy family, offers a Collections Representative role focused on helping customers manage overdue accounts and negotiate repayment plans while maintaining a customer‑first approach.
A Day In The Life Of a Collections Representative- Demonstrate compassion and empathy for our customers by understanding their situations, needs, and offering solutions.
- Perform outbound calls to collect on overdue accounts by negotiating appropriate repayment plans with customers.
- Support operations by managing customer accounts and collection activities on delinquent/past‑due accounts of financial loans.
- Expertly engage in negotiations with customers and explore financial resources to secure the optimal arrangement.
- Complete initial trace work using online tools and account systems.
- Document collections activities and processes through superior administration skills.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a collections, sales, or customer service or call center/contact center role.
- Experience with using an automated dialer system is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to multi‑task; adapting to changes in a fast‑paced environment.
- Competency in MS Office (Word, Excel); ability to learn new software applications.
- Background checks: criminal, employment, and credit must be cleared.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada on a full‑time basis at the time of application; sponsorship cannot be provided.
- Night Shift – Monday to Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Day Shift – Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Rotating weekly mid‑shift:
Week 1: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM;
Week 2: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM - Occasional Saturday work (Day Shift only)
