Part‑Time French & High School Math/Science Teacher

Join us at Oxford Learning Centres Inc. as a Part‑Time French & High School Math/Science Teacher in Scarborough, Kingston & Sheppard locations. We seek passionate educators who love working with high‑school students and can bring enthusiasm for French, mathematics and science to the classroom.

• High school (grades 9‑12) French, Math & Science teaching or tutoring experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English
• Ability to work with up to three students at a time in an interactive coaching environment
• Good knowledge of the current Grade 9‑12 curriculum (advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, vectors, physics, chemistry, biology)
• Must be able to commute to the campus (in‑person only – no relocation packages)
• Vulnerable sector screening required
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification; teaching certification considered an asset; fourth‑year university students with tutoring experience will be considered

• Teach up to three students at a time at different levels, both in‑person and online
• Follow Oxford Learning’s pre‑planned lesson plans and teaching methodologies
• Maintain post‑lesson notes and daily student communication updates
• Adhere to scheduled times: evenings (4:00 pm‑8:00 pm) Monday‑Friday and Saturday availability (10:00 am‑3:00 pm)
• Provide a friendly, professional, and encouraging learning environment

• Flexible part‑time schedule with evenings and Saturdays
