Position: Oxford Learning Tutor for Grades K-9
Become a part-time Tutor at Oxford Learning Pickering and inspire elementary students in math and English. Teach and guide students up to grade 9 with engaging lessons.

Oxford Learning is looking for passionate part-time teacher-tutors who enjoy working with elementary students. The ideal candidates will work during weekday evenings and Saturday mornings, helping students develop their skills, especially in math and English. Previous teaching or tutoring experience is desired.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and assist up to three students simultaneously

• Implement both online and in-person lessons

• Follow established Oxford Learning methods

• Maintain accurate post-lesson notes for student evaluation

• Ensure effective communication with students daily

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant education certification

• Experience teaching/tutoring K-9 students necessary

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Ability to multitask between students

• Must complete vulnerable sector screening
