Position: Full-Time Teacher of English and Religion Role
Join St. Mary CSS as a full-time educator teaching Intermediate English and Religion. This 1.0 FTE position is set to commence on September 2, 2026, welcoming committed teaching professionals.

The DCDSB is looking for an Intermediate/Senior teacher to fill this temporary vacancy. Candidates must hold valid certification from the Ontario College of Teachers and relevant subject qualifications for the specified courses. A focus on creating an inclusive environment that supports all students is essential in this role as it contributes to DCDSB's mandate for diversity and representation in education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver curriculum for English (ENG2D1, ENG4C1) and Religion (HRE1O1)

• Create inclusive lesson plans to engage all students

• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive guidance

• Collaborate with other teachers for curriculum development

• Promote an inclusive culture within the classroom

Requirements:

• Active certification from the Ontario College of Teachers

• Intermediate/Senior Basic Qualifications required

• Qualifications for listed course subjects

• History of fostering an inclusive classroom environment

• Passion for enhancing student learning experience
