Position: Part Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Make a difference at Pickering Community Junior School as a part time Higher Level Teaching Assistant in Pickering, North Yorkshire. This role focuses on pastoral care and teaching in maths and PSHE every morning.
We are looking for a dedicated and inspiring individual to join our supportive team in a fixed term position until August 2027. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pastoral care and education in maths and PSHE

• Work Monday to Friday mornings and select afternoons

• Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive environment

• Ensure high expectations for student welfare and progress

• Commit to safeguarding policies and practices
Requirements:

• Experience in teaching or educational support roles

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Commitment to safeguarding children and young people

• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check

• Passion for providing high-quality education
