St. Wilfrid Catholic School is looking for a dedicated LTO teacher for Grades 5 and 6, with the position starting September 2, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027.
To apply , candidates must hold a current certification from the Ontario College of Teachers along with Junior Qualifications. This crucial role aims to enhance the learning environment for all students, with compensation based on your teaching experience and QECO category evaluation as per the collective agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement lesson plans for effective learning
• Create an inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Engage with parents and support staff to enhance education
• Provide meaningful assessments and progress reports
• Attend required professional development sessions
Requirements:
• Certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers
• Valid Junior Qualifications
• Experience teaching Grades 5 or 6 preferred
