Position: I/S Science and Math Teacher Opportunity
Make a difference at the Durham District School Board as a teacher in I/S Science, I/S Math, and I/S Canadian & World Studies. Engage and inspire students in grades 9-12 in this thriving educational setting.

As a part-time teacher (0.5 FTE), you will create a supportive classroom environment, focusing on fostering a love for learning. This role involves designing engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards and helping students progress academically. You will collaborate with colleagues and parents to enhance the educational experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging lessons for diverse learners

• Assess student understanding and provide constructive feedback

• Foster an inclusive and positive classroom climate

• Collaborate with staff and families to support student needs

• Adapt teaching strategies to cater to various learning styles

Requirements:

• Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in good standing

• Subject qualifications in I/S Science, Math, and Studies

• Current Criminal Background Check required

• Experience teaching grades 9-12

• Commitment to equity and community reflection in education
