Part-Time Math & Chemistry Tutor

Excel in education with Oxford Learning Pickering as a part-time Math and Chemistry Tutor. Engage with high school students in person, primarily during evenings and weekends.

Oxford Learning is seeking dedicated teacher-tutors to support students in math and science. This role requires a strong knowledge of Grades 9-12 curriculum and focuses on helping students build their confidence. No lesson planning is necessary as all materials are supplied and you will receive comprehensive training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach up to three students simultaneously at varying levels

• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies during sessions

• Complete daily student communication updates

• Maintain professionalism and positivity in all interactions

• Fill in post-lesson notes for performance tracking

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field

• Experience tutoring math at the high school level

• Excellent English communication skills

• Ability to work during evenings and Saturdays

• Commitment to students until term's end in June
