Intermediate Teacher: English & Religion Courses

Shape future leaders as an Intermediate Teacher for English and Religion y CSS starting September 2, 2026. This 1.0 FTE LTO position involves teaching two critical subjects, fostering student growth.

DCDSB is looking for passionate educators to teach courses HFN2O1 and HFC3M1 y CSS. Candidates must be certified by the Ontario College of Teachers and hold the necessary Intermediate/Senior Basic Qualifications. This temporary vacancy offers the chance to build meaningful relationships within an inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate lessons in English and Religion for intermediate students

• Design curriculum-aligned lesson plans

• Assess and report on student learning outcomes

• Encourage a supportive classroom atmosphere

• Engage with parents and the community to support student success

Requirements:

• Ontario College of Teachers certification in good standing

• Intermediate/Senior Basic Qualifications essential

• Subject Qualifications for the specified courses
