Position: Teaching Role in I/S Subjects at DDSB
Seek an impactful teaching role at the Durham District School Board focusing on I/S Science, Math, and Canadian & World Studies. Contribute to student success in a supportive classroom environment.

This position is for a part-time (0.5 FTE) teacher responsible for grades 9-12. You will deliver well-structured lessons and assess students’ progress while fostering a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere.

Your role will emphasize adapting teaching methods to fit the diverse needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft curriculum-aligned lessons that engage students

• Provide assessments and feedback to guide student progress

• Promote a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment

• Work with colleagues and parents to enhance student outcomes

• Adjust teaching materials to support varied learning needs

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario teaching certificate (OCT)

• Qualifications in I/S Science, Math and World Studies

• Clear Criminal Background Check mandatory

• Relevant teaching experience for grades 9-12

• Commitment to inclusivity and community diversity in education
