Position: French Tutor for Elementary Students
Join Oxford Learning Pickering as a French Tutor dedicated to elementary education. This part-time role focuses on engaging students in learning French, available Monday to Friday evenings, and occasional Saturdays.

Oxford Learning seeks a motivated French Tutor to assist students with their French learning journey. This position encourages you to work with up to three students at different levels, all while using a structured curriculum provided by the school. Ongoing commitment throughout the term and summer is preferred for consistency in learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach in a small group setting with a maximum of three students

• Conduct all lessons entirely in French

• Use the supplied curriculum without needing lesson planning

• Provide updates and fill in notes post-lesson

• Uphold a friendly, professional demeanor at all times

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or related certification required

• Strong French and English communication skills

• Experience with Grades 3-8 or equivalent teaching

• Ability to teach up to the Grade 9 level

• Must live locally; no relocation offered
