Position: 0.5 FTE LTO Teacher Grades 1/2

This 0.5 FTE position involves delivering engaging lessons and monitoring student progress. You will create a positive classroom culture that makes every student feel valued. Collaboration with colleagues, parents, and community is key to enhancing the learning experience and meeting diverse needs in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop lessons aligned with curriculum to support learning

• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

• Foster an inclusive classroom environment for all students

• Work collaboratively with parents and community partners

• Customize teaching strategies based on student needs

Requirements:

• Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) valid and in good standing

• Required subject qualifications in Primary Education

• A current Criminal Background Check with vulnerable sector screening

• Experience working with young students

• Dedication to building a welcoming learning atmosphere
