AEcon Nuclear Training Specialist

Drive safety and effectiveness at Aecon as a Nuclear Training Specialist. This pivotal role develops training curriculums for personnel engaged in critical nuclear functions in Pickering, Ontario.

As the Nuclear Training Specialist, you'll be tasked with delivering comprehensive training programs based on adult learning principles and systematic training approaches. This includes preparing educational materials and collaborating with teams to suit the specific needs of the nuclear refurbishment project. Your expertise will promote a culture of quality and safety across all training aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain detailed training packages

• Prepare and deliver instructional presentations

• Keep up-to-date worker qualification documentation

• Work closely with training management and departments

• Identify and address ongoing training needs

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education or completed apprenticeship

• At least 3-5 years experience in nuclear sector

• Red Seal UA Pipefitter certification required

• Knowledge of EPSCA agreement beneficial

• Ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
