CanAtom Electrical Technologist

Position: CanAtom Electrical Technologist Role
Contribute to critical nuclear projects with Can Atom as an Electrical Technologist. This role emphasizes mechanical and electrical maintenance of welding tools essential to the refurbishment activities at Pickering.

As part of the team executing the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station project, you will ensure that all tooling operations are efficient and safe. Strong diagnostic skills and a proactive approach are key to supporting the refurbishment efforts effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on welding equipment

• Develop and document repair procedures as needed

• Ensure tools are correctly configured for operations

• Provide on-site support and expertise to multiple trades

• Maintain comprehensive inventory of tooling components

Requirements:

• Four years of hands-on machining or fabrication experience

• Graduated in the relevant technical field

• Experience interpreting electrical schematics

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Willingness to meet physical job demands
