At Aecon, you'll assist in planning and executing the welding components of the RF project, collaborating closely with a diverse team of specialists. With a history of successful projects in nuclear facilities, this position requires you to prepare technical documentation and lead vendor selection based on stringent specifications.
Your role is pivotal in ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee welding initiatives and technical quality assurance
• Produce detailed welding documentation and proposals
• Manage vendor evaluations and procurement processes
• Conduct safety inspections and technical presentations
• Coordinate non-destructive examination schedules
Requirements:
• Must hold a Professional Engineer designation
• 5+ years in construction welding environment
• Expertise in ASME, CWB, and AWS codes
• Familiarity with welding principles and manufacturing software
• Exceptional communication and time management skills
