At OPG, we seek a Process Control & Software Categorization Engineer to support our engineering team. This full time role requires a minimum of two years in process control or software categorization, focusing on electrical and control system design. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, modeling systems, and maintaining software governance while ensuring compliance with CSA standards.
Key Responsibilities Assess control components' effect on loop performance
Troubleshoot control problems and tune control loops
Model physical systems to document plant dynamics
Maintain software governance and provide relevant advice
Design and test instrumentation and control systems
Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Chemical)
Minimum 2 years in process control/software categorization
Experience with nuclear or industrial process control systems
Proficiency in programming languages like C/C++
Licensed engineer in Ontario or eligible for licensing
