Elevate your career as an Intermediate Electrical Engineer within the nuclear sector in Mississauga or Pickering, ON. This role involves power system design up to 500 kV, focusing on both heavy industrial and nuclear environments.
As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you'll oversee engineering design processes, ranging from initial concepts to detailed phases. Key duties include performing compliance checks with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), developing electrical protection designs, and conducting essential power system studies. You will also engage directly with clients and regulatory authorities, providing crucial support during various project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze power systems from 120 V to 500 kV
• Lead the development of electrical distribution designs
• Prepare Load Flow and Arc Flash studies
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams for project success
• Review electrical equipment technical specifications
Requirements:
• Licensed P.Eng. in Ontario or in progress
• Minimum 4 years in heavy industrial or power generation
• Experience with power system modeling and coordination
• Knowledge of nuclear power plant systems is a plus
• Excellent communication for client engagement
