As part of Velan’s growing engineering team, you'll use your experience to design and develop essential valve solutions for nuclear applications. With 2-5 years of mechanical engineering experience, you will work on creating 3D models and drawings while ensuring adherence to strict codes and manufacturing standards.

Your role is vital in supporting important projects in plant construction and life extension initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design valve components adhering to nuclear codes

• Develop comprehensive 3D models, calculations, and drawings

• Ensure manufacturability, reliability, and quality of designs

• Release detailed technical documentation for production

• Collaborate with manufacturing for successful first assemblies
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent

• 2-5 years of engineering and design experience

• Familiarity with valve/pressure vessel standards (ASME, API, ISO)

• Proficient in 3D CAD (Creo preferred) and analysis software

• Understanding of assembly and machining processes
