Elevate your career as a Welding Engineer with Aecon, a leader in infrastructure development. In this role, you'll support the RF project for Ontario Power Generation, focusing on welding analysis and documentation.
As part of Aecon Nuclear, you will oversee technical aspects of welding in a high-stakes environment, coordinating closely with vendors and teams to ensure compliance with ASME and AWS standards. Your expertise will play a vital role in the effective execution of the RF project through meticulous planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage technical aspects of welding projects
• Prepare technical specifications and proposals
• Evaluate vendor quotations for project compliance
• Produce and review construction documentation
• Coordinate mechanical testing with local labs
Requirements:
• P.Eng. designation required
• 5+ years experience in construction welding
• Familiarity with ASME, CWB, or AWS codes
• Knowledge of welding principles and practices
• Proficient in construction-related software
