This independent contract role requires you to leverage extensive civil engineering expertise while leading a team in Ontario. You will manage detailed engineering design changes for critical boiler replacement projects while ensuring solutions align with client needs. Experience mentoring, promoting continuous improvement, and overseeing deliverables within the clean and reliable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership for engineering design packages
• Supervise and mentor the Civil Design Team
• Liaise with clients to ensure solution viability
• Oversee engineering deliverables for plant operations
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Professional Engineering License (P. Eng.) required
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards and techniques
• Proficient in CAD, FEA, CFD software tools
