Procurement Engineer – Nuclear Proposals

Become a pivotal force in nuclear procurement at Aecon in Darlington, Ontario as a Procurement Engineer. This role emphasizes engineered equipment selection and technical specification preparation.

As part of Aecon’s project team, you will report to the Engineering Manager while supporting project engineers and proposal managers.

Your role includes preparing equipment specifications, evaluating vendor bids, and ensuring compliance with nuclear standards. You will work closely with various departments and vendors to achieve effective outcomes for project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect design data from Design Service Providers

• Prepare Technical Specifications for proposals

• Review vendor documentation for compliance

• Recommend vendor selections based on performance

• Collaborate with project teams to meet objectives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering

• Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation

• 5+ years of relevant experience

• Knowledge of nuclear codes required

• Strong organizational and collaboration skills
