Our client seeks a Mechanical Design Manager in Pickering, ON, to oversee engineering projects and drive team development. Emphasizing innovation, this role combines technical and managerial responsibilities.
Ideal candidates should possess a four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least a decade of experience in a design consulting role, including leadership. Responsibilities will include supervising project execution, collaborating on requirements, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will also have the opportunity to mentor engineers, promote inclusivity, and lead continuous improvement initiatives in a high-performing culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide technical design and system implementations
• Oversee project timelines and scope compliance

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Professional Engineer registration in Ontario
• Eligibility for federal security clearance
• Nuclear engineering background preferred
