The ideal candidate will be adept at synthesizing engineering and human factors principles to optimize design. With a strong understanding of multi-disciplinary teamwork, you’ll evaluate and refine designs according to guidelines such as CSA N290.12. Your contributions will be essential for creating user-friendly, safe operating environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Integrate human capabilities into design processes
• Assess design systems for sensory and cognitive effectiveness
• Participate in team evaluations of proposed engineering designs
• Follow protocols outlined in CNSC G-276 and related documents
• Produce comprehensive technical reports and presentations
Requirements:
• Engineering or Science degree specializing in Human Factors
• Registered or soon-to-be registered Engineer in Ontario
• 5+ years in design environments within the nuclear sector
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills
• Ability to obtain Canadian Federal security clearance
