Position: Mechanical Design Analyst for CANDU6 Projects

You'll collaborate with senior engineers and independently tackle mechanical design analyses. The role demands strong engineering skills to perform calculations, develop documentation, and create technical reports for regulatory review. This position is vital for ensuring the integrity and safety of nuclear systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze CANDU reactor systems and components

• Perform engineering calculations for nuclear pressure boundaries

• Prepare formal technical reports for client review

• Review design documents and analysis reports

• Model complex equipment arrangements with finite element techniques

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 5-8 years of mechanical engineering experience

• Proficient in ANSYS Mechanical and LSDYNA

• Knowledge of CSA N285.0 and ASME codes

• Excellent communication and technical writing skills
