Based in Oshawa, ON, this permanent full-time role is ideal for a licensed engineer with at least two years of nuclear industry experience. You will perform Deterministic Safety Analysis and develop predictive models while ensuring compliance with safety limits. Your work will directly support the development of safety reports and regulatory engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead safety assessments and oversee relevant work
• Analyze reactor behavior and model transient responses
• Establish safety analysis limits and operational guidelines
• Identify essential trips for reactor shutdown safety
• Engage in regulatory discussions and industry collaborations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Applied Science
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Expertise in deterministic safety analysis and reactor physics
• Desirable experience with core neutronics simulation
• Must hold a license or be eligible to be licensed in Ontario
