In this full-time position, you will conduct essential lab tests affecting design and analysis for Thurber’s engineering team and external clients. Your expertise in geotechnology and concrete will ensure rigorous project standards and best practices. Prepare soil samples, log rock core, and maintain lab equipment while working in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct lab testing for accurate geotechnical results
• Prepare soil samples ready for various tests
• Collect and plot lab results into reports
• Test soils for index parameters and concrete properties
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
Requirements:
• Certification in CCIL soils, aggregates, and concrete
• Post-secondary education in Engineering Technology
• Experience in lab testing environments
• Valid Class G Driver’s license required
• Knowledge of ASTM/CCIL/CSA standards
