Nuclear Modification Team Lead at Aecon

Lead the Modification Team at Aecon’s nuclear refurbishment projects. This position focuses on guiding design activities while ensuring adherence to rigorous quality and safety standards in Pickering, ON.

As a Modification Team Lead at Aecon, you will report to the Area Manager and interface directly with the OPG Design Team Lead. Your responsibilities include reviewing design documentation, ensuring quality adherence, and mentoring project staff. This role demands expertise in nuclear sector refurbishment and a commitment to deliver projects safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interface with OPG Design Team lead

• Ensure design teams follow OPG–ECC adherence and SLN QA

• Review and assess design packages for categories 1 & 2 tooling

• Coordinate design review and COMS meetings

• Mentor engineering team and oversee quality

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering discipline from accredited institution

• Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario

• Experience in Nuclear sector refurbishments

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software

• Knowledge of CSA N285.0 and ASME III codes
