Tetra Tech seeks a Fire Protection Engineer to join their team focused on nuclear and industrial safety. With a contract position available for one year, this role requires expertise in fire protection strategies, compliance assessments, and collaborative evaluations. You will engage with multidisciplinary teams and lead Fire Hazard Assessments to enhance safety outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct fire protection engineering assessments for facilities
• Lead Fire Hazard Assessments and code compliance reviews
• Develop compliance solutions and technical reports
• Evaluate impacts of design changes on fire safety
• Participate in site inspections and engineering documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Fire Protection or related engineering
• 8-15+ years of progressive experience in fire protection
• Professional Engineer designation in Ontario
• Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards
• Technical writing and client communication skills
