Elevate your educational journey as a Project Controls Co-op with Aecon in Pickering, Ontario. Experience hands-on project management in the nuclear energy field.
The 8-16 month co-op starting in January 2027 will immerse you in project controls, focusing on cost tracking, scheduling, and risk management. As a co-op student in this role, you will support the team in ensuring project milestones align with performance goals at the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project
• Prepare cost forecasts and variance analyses
• Maintain records including change orders and risk registers
• Track project budgets and overall expenditures
• Assist in team meetings and project planning sessions
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields
• Strong analytical and communication capabilities
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and project management tools
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
• Understanding of Earned Value Management principles
