The Environmental Manager position supports the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station refurbishment program, overseeing crucial environmental management tasks. You'll ensure compliance with regulations and standards while working closely with various stakeholders and project teams. This role requires robust coordination for documentation, permits, and risk assessments, alongside continuous improvement initiatives in an active nuclear environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and improve the Environmental Management System

• Lead assessments during design and construction phases

• Oversee environmental monitoring programs and compliance checks

• Conduct site inspections and training for best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental planning or related field

• Minimum 6 years of experience in environmental roles

• Familiarity with ISO 14001 standards and QHSE regulations

• Experience in tunneling is an asset

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
