As a Junior Process Engineer, you will engage with the Engineering team to improve production efficiency and product quality. This role requires hands-on involvement in troubleshooting and implementing process controls while prioritizing safety and compliance in food manufacturing settings. You'll gain exposure to equipment systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into effective processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and assess production processes and equipment usage
• Conduct troubleshooting for major process issues
• Implement process control measures for consistency
• Collaborate with teams on operational challenges
• Analyze downtime and drive corrective actions
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 2–5 years in food manufacturing or regulated industries
• Familiarity with data collection systems
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma preferred
• Valid Ontario G driver’s license for site travel
