Apply project engineering skills on site in Pickering, Ontario, supporting nuclear project planning, engineering changes, and contractor coordination. This 24-month contract requires full-time site presence.
Spirit Omega seeks Junior Technical Staff with two to three years of relevant project engineering experience. The work supports project scoping, execution, design requirements, engineering change control, procurement, and project reporting. Candidates should understand governance, procedures, station interfaces, scheduling, and work control while developing communication skills through meetings and presentations.
Key Responsibilities:- Support project scoping, planning, execution, and closeout
- Clarify design requirements and coordinate necessary changes
- Prepare specifications, bid packages, and purchasing recommendations
- Oversee contractor schedules, resources, risks, budgets, and constraints
- Administer contracts, payments, change orders, and project reports
- Two to three years of relevant project engineering experience
- Nuclear Projects and Engineering experience is ideal
- Ability to become a Nuclear Energy Worker
- Knowledge of Engineering Change Control processes
- Experience interfacing with station, scheduling, and work control
Support nuclear project delivery in Pickering through engineering coordination, contractor oversight, procurement, and disciplined project control.
