Position: Slot Technician Supervisor (full-time secondment)-PCK

Slot Technician Supervisor

Pickering Casino Resort is seeking a full‑time Slot Technician Supervisor. This position is a secondment ending December 31, 2026 (end date subject to change). The role reports to the Slot Technical Shift Manager and is responsible for ensuring user satisfaction and maximizing uptime of slot machines through preventative maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities
  • Lead projects such as theme conversions, slot machine relocations, and installations.
  • Assist management in interviewing, hiring, and training Slot Technicians.
  • Supervise Slot Technicians, assigning work duties and coaching/mentoring them.
  • Make scheduling adjustments as required.
  • Respond to, resolve or escalates machine or team‑member related issues.
  • Report irregularities and suspicious activities.
  • Ensure compliance with AGCO regulations, licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
Eligibility and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a slot technician role and background in electronics.
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory or people‑management experience in a commercial casino/hospitality industry preferred.
  • High School diploma; post‑secondary education or suitable combination of education and experience is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication, customer‑service, and problem‑solving skills.
  • People‑focused and committed to service excellence.
  • Proactive and solution‑oriented with a drive to succeed.
  • Ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
  • Knowledge and experience in a variety of table games preferred. Working Conditions

    • Candidates must be ready and willing to work at both locations and have a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights. Working hours and location will be based on operational needs.
