Role Description
The Credit Analyst is responsible to analyze, evaluate risk and provide decisions on credit applications for the financing and leasing of vehicles received through the dealer network.
Possible Tasks within this Role- Validate information, assess risk and make decisions on credit applications according to credit policies.
- Communicate with dealerships and Business Development Managers to negotiate terms and conditions on complex credit applications to support business needs and ensure acceptable risk level.
- Provide ongoing support to dealers’ network and Business Development Managers on credit programs and policies to ensure credit applications meet all the requirements.
College diploma preferred.
Experience3 years’ experience in a financial institution in a role with customer contact and negotiation.
Competencies- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Negotiation skills.
- Attention to details.
- Analytical skills.
- Able to analyze financial statements.
- Certified Canadian credit professional is an asset.
- Rotation schedules (Monday to Saturday between 8:00 am to 9:00 pm EST).
- Please note that the hours are subject to change based on business needs.
Salary range is dependent on factors such as industry-based experience, skills, training, credentials, and other qualifications. The salary range for this role is $64,289.06 - $88,397.46. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and internal compensation practices.
