Pharmasave Picton is looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join their team! The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the pharmacy team and providing excellent service to customers and patients.
Responsibilities:- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring proper storage and labeling
- Process prescription orders and verify patient information
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and answering phone calls
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant ( 1 to 2 years experience)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with either Kroll or Fillware system
