Position: Carefor Homemaker Position Available
Become a Homemaker with Carefor and provide meaningful in-home support across Eastern Ontario. This role focuses on maintaining safe and hygienic home conditions for clients.

As Carefor's Homemaker, you’ll work within policies to sustain households for seniors and individuals with disabilities. You will collaborate with the Program Coordinator to ensure that clients achieve optimal independence. This position emphasizes the importance of cleanliness, safety, and respect within clients’ homes, with ongoing professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in homes

• Vacuum, mop, and dust as needed

• Sanitize bathrooms and change bed linens

• Wash dishes and manage household laundry

• Report any issues concerning client safety

Requirements:

• Household management and housekeeping experience

• Experience with elderly or vulnerable populations

• Valid vulnerable sector background check

• Preferred First Aid and CPR certification

• English proficiency required;
French a strong asset
