Job OverviewThe Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) seeks a Systems Integration Lead to coordinate, lead, and deliver a diverse portfolio of IT solutions. The role involves developing architecture, managing teams, and ensuring high‑quality, secure, and scalable systems in a cloud environment.
Responsibilities- Lead technical activities for the design, analysis, and implementation of architecture solutions, researching evolving technologies.
- Present development recommendations to management.
- Lead the development and support of B2B and B2C e‑commerce solutions.
- Provide technical leadership across all aspects of enterprise architecture.
- Determine technical requirements, resources, and cost estimates for assigned projects.
- Develop and execute test strategies to validate design against requirements.
- Create architectural artifacts covering all enterprise architecture viewpoints (design, standards, roadmap compliance).
- Provide training, coaching, and guidance to all team members.
- Work with Program Coordination and Application Infrastructure teams to oversee incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Research technology, systems, and products to support the IT roadmap and drive its implementation.
- Provide on‑call support for the e‑commerce platform as required.
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive development experience in a senior technical capacity.
- Advanced knowledge of IT technology, tools, and microservices architecture.
- 3+ years of experience in an IT Team Lead capacity.
- E‑commerce development experience, including implementation of payment gateways.
- Applied experience in at least one of the following technologies: AWS (Cognito, DynamoDB, Lambda), Python, Java, Groovy, Angular, ReactJS, JavaScript, Type Script, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Git version control and Git CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and unit testing (Python, Java).
- Strong knowledge of database concepts with relational databases (PostgreSQL), SQL, cloud computing, cloud data warehouse, and data lake, as well as No
SQL (DynamoDB). - Experience with federated token‑based authentication.
- Effective conflict resolution, team‑building, and client‑relationship management skills.
- Analytical reasoning skills to assess client needs and develop cost‑effective and efficient IT solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences.
- Certification or working toward certification in the above technologies.
- Expertise in cloud computing architecture and microservices architecture.
- Practical understanding of Agile methodology.
