Become an essential Buyer for our nuclear supply chain in Pickering with a hybrid work flexibility. Play a key role in enhancing purchasing operations and strategies.
We require an Intermediate/Senior Buyer to join our Supply Chain team, tasked with developing and implementing effective purchasing strategies.
Your role includes conducting analyses on spending and commodities, and forming relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders. Your strong communication skills will be pivotal in this collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies for nuclear services
• Gather metrics to evaluate purchasing operation effectiveness
• Perform detailed spend and commodity analyses
• Establish strong supplier and stakeholder relationships
• Apply Microsoft Office Suite for strategic initiatives
Requirements:
• 3-5 years’ experience in supplier-facing roles
• 2-3 years of commodity management experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Preferred 1-2 years of SAP ERP experience
• Relevant nuclear sector buying experience is beneficial
