Position: Experienced Project Procurement Manager Needed
Aecon seeks a skilled Project Procurement Manager in Pickering, ON, to lead procurement for the Steam Generator Replacement project. This role emphasizes strategic procurement lifecycle management.

In this critical position, you’ll work under the Aecon Nuclear Procurement Manager to define procurement strategies and oversee operational excellence. Your extensive experience will facilitate effective supplier negotiations, and strategic tendering while ensuring compliance with quality assurance. You will play a vital role in meeting and exceeding project expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead procurement lifecycle for the project

• Develop and execute procurement strategies

• Review and analyze purchase request documentation

• Negotiate supplier contracts to ensure best practices

• Maintain performance and accountability standards

Requirements:

• Over 10 years of procurement experience

• 5+ years in a managerial capacity

• Familiar with procurement and materials processes

• History of managing large complex purchases

• Knowledge of nuclear systems is advantageous
