Procurement Specialist at Black & McDonald

In this vital role, you will report directly to the Procurement Director and engage in purchasing decisions that impact the region's projects. You will source materials, secure quotes from suppliers, and assist in estimating while maintaining strong vendor relationships. Administrative duties, timely purchase orders, and interdepartmental communication are also critical to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Secure quotes for materials and services from suppliers
• Review vendor discount structures to maximize savings
• Identify, source, and evaluate supplier offerings
• Prepare purchase orders to fulfill project requirements
• Monitor and track vendor performance for continuous improvement
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Business or related field
• 1-2 years of procurement experience, preferably in nuclear projects
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Proven ability in contract administration
• Familiarity with EPC environments preferred
