Position: Junior Buyer for Nuclear Projects
Join Black & McDonald as a Junior Nuclear Buyer in Pickering, where your procurement skills will support essential equipment and material purchases for nuclear projects. Focus on vendor relationships and project efficiency.

In this role, you will work closely with the Procurement Director to ensure all purchasing activities align with project needs. You will source and evaluate materials while handling administrative responsibilities, including issuing timely purchase orders. Your communication with various departments will drive project success and enhance supplier collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source bids and prepare RFP documents for vendors

• Place purchase orders to optimize project costs

• Liaison with internal stakeholders for effective procurement

• Review and process supplier claims and returns

• Develop and maintain productive vendor relationships

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Business or a related discipline

• 1-2 years of relevant procurement experience

• Understanding of procurement and contract management

• Effective problem-solving and teamwork skills

• Strong analytical abilities for data evaluation
