Assistant Building Operator Role Available

Pickering Casino Resort is looking for a Full-time Assistant Building Operator to enhance facility management and operational effectiveness. You'll support essential maintenance and uphold safety protocols in this engaging role.

As an Assistant Building Operator, you will report directly to the Facilities Manager. Your responsibilities include monitoring building equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and addressing service requests efficiently. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards while contributing to the overall functionality of the casino’s infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Building Operator daily with maintenance tasks

• Monitor equipment conditions and document findings

• Execute preventive maintenance and repair logistics

• Respond to alarms and maintain operational integrity

• Help manage the supply inventory for repairs

Requirements:

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience

• Minimum one year of relevant job experience

• First Aid certification and progress toward BES Class1

• Strong Microsoft Office skills required

• Capability to lift heavy materials as necessary
