Maintenance Aide

Enhance your technical skills as a Maintenance Aide with Southbridge Care Homes in Pickering, Ontario. This full-time role focuses on maintenance operations and ensuring facility standards are met.

This temporary position involves working from 8 AM to 4 PM. You'll support mechanical and electrical operations while being the first point of contact for facility concerns. Ideal candidates will have experience in maintenance and a hands-on approach to tasks such as painting, snow removal, and general upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily maintenance tasks and painting operations

• Handle exterior duties like snow removal and garbage management

• Assist with general upkeep of the facility

• Attend company meetings and in-service education

• Engage in other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Post-Secondary Certificate in Skilled Trades or related experience

• Minimum one year in a similar role

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to multitask and work independently

• Negative vulnerable sector check required
