Wastewater Operator at Darling International

Join Darling International as a Wastewater Operator, ensuring smooth wastewater processing and equipment maintenance in a vital facility. This role includes monitoring systems and maintaining regulatory compliance on rotating shifts.

As a Wastewater Operator, you will report to the Environmental Supervisor and ensure operational efficiency in wastewater treatment. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting environmental control systems and conducting regular equipment checks. You will also assist in sample collection and analysis while maintaining safety standards in a demanding work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment

• Monitor air purification systems for compliance

• Collect daily environmental samples diligently

• Assist with reporting and record keeping accurately

• Ensure a tidy and safe working environment at all times

Requirements:

• University degree or college diploma in a related field

• OIT and/or Class 1 WWTP Certification required

• Minimum 1 year of operating experience in relevant settings

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with data analysis skills

• Class G driver's license and reliable transportation required
