Marianhill, a not-for-profit organization, seeks dedicated Environmental Service Workers to maintain sanitary conditions across its facilities. Under the supervision of the Manager of Environmental Services, you will perform cleaning, laundry activities, and uphold the dignity and independence of our residents.
Your role is crucial in enhancing the quality of long-term care and community support services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness and order in assigned areas
• Operate laundry equipment and manage laundry services
• Follow established procedures and legislation guidelines
• Respect resident dignity and autonomy in all tasks
• Collaborate with the team to support Marianhill’s mission
Requirements:
• Grade 11 education or equivalent
• Experience in commercial cleaning or laundry services
• Proficiency in English;
French is an asset
• Excellent attendance and reliability
• Familiarity with geriatrics or dementia care preferred
