Building Attendant in Waterloo Facilities

This role entails maintaining the Regional Operations Centre and other community facilities with a focus on keeping environments clean and in good repair. You will be addressing facility maintenance issues, performing general repairs, and executing custodial duties to enhance building quality. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure all facilities meet safety and cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs to building interiors

• Maintain daily activity records in a work management system

• Assist with snow removal and other facility upkeep

• Conduct routine inspections and monitor safety equipment

• Ensure tenant security and report maintenance issues

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education with 2 years maintenance experience

• Valid G driver's license with a clean record

• Knowledge of building maintenance policies

• Ability to work independently under supervision

• Communication skills for interacting with tenants and contractors
