Loader Operators are responsible for the completion of the day‑to‑day activities at their assigned plant location, operating a front‑end loader in the yard to load trucks and production equipment on site, and performing various yard maintenance activities.

• Follow safe work procedures and act safely in the workplace.
• Complete daily and weekly plant inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness of plant and yard.
• Load aggregate material into trucks, trailers, bays and production equipment.
• Maintain an accurate plant inventory of aggregate material.
• Communicate quickly to Supervisor any issues that will impact production.
• Train backup operators as needed.

• Successful completion of a heavy equipment operator program from an accredited institution (asset).
• Experience operating a front‑end loader (experience with a John Deere 644K or similar is an asset).
• Completion of high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class G driver’s licence.
• Good communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, written).
