Temporary Production Assembler – Pickering

Ensure pulled parts for specific assemblies agree with Bill of Material

Prepare sub-assemblies as necessary

Assemble finished products using sub-assemblies and additional parts specified

Operate a variety of equipment such as index tables, drill presses, soldering machine, air and electric presses, Hubbell drivers, electric grinder, wire strippers, air drivers, etc.

Test finished product

Repair faulty assemblies

Product upgrade/conversion

Prepare packing material

Package finished product and transport to Holding Area

Clean-up of workstation

Other duties related to assembly functions

Ability to interpret and follow verbal and written instructions

Work well with others

Continual standing and lifting

Ability to do some heavy lifting

Basic mathematics

Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent

The hourly rate for this position is $22.58. Total compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package, pension plan, and may include other incentives.
