Position: EHS Specialist II for Manufacturing Compliance
Become the EHS Specialist II at Hubbell Canada, focusing on safety management and compliance in a manufacturing environment. Drive health and safety standards and support employee training initiatives.

In this role, you will function as the Subject Matter Expert, ensuring the effective implementation of safety management software and compliance with various safety regulations. You'll conduct training sessions for new hires, assess workplace safety conditions, and coordinate Health & Safety meetings. Collaborating with management, you'll contribute to fostering an improved work environment in the Orillia Plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Benchmark Safety Management Software

• Conduct safety training and orientation for new employees

• Advise on safety compliance and workplace conditions

• Organize JHSC meetings and follow up on safety issues

• Review and address all incidents, implementing corrective actions

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in safety or environmental studies

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting

• Familiarity with OSHA, CSA, and WHMIS regulations

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
